    buy low alert: jonathan stewart
ok fellas im giving you a super buy low candidate...i know this may seem like a reach but hear me out on jonathan stewart of the panthers...this guy could have a much bigger role going forward, maybe even become a low end rb1-high end rb2...

-the panthers are changing it up, working on a power running game, and coach ron rivera is rumored to be installing jonathan stewart as the feature back...if this is true we could see a top 5 talent at the position
-only mccoy, peterson, and MJD received higher running grades from pro football focus last season
-no running back forced more missed tackles in the passing game last year
-stewart has graded out as pro football focus's most elusive back of the past 3 seasons

im not saying give half your lineup to get this guy, but he got the majority of the snaps last weekend...it looks like they are phasing out d-williams...if you can get him cheap (maybe say that the bears matchup is terrible if you are trying to get him) its worth a shot down the road...3 out of his 4 final matchups are pretty good (KC wk 13, ATL wk 14, SD wk 15, OAK wk 16)

Everyone can go ahead and drop DeAngelo. Agree on buying low on Stewart. But buy VERY low. Sounds like he'll get at least 15 or so touches a game, but Cam and Tolbert are still going to get all the goal line runs.

Heard this on Fantasy focus podcast the other day and I somewhat agree with it.

wouldn't trade a sack of marbles for Stewart but if u are hurting at RB and are like 2-5, why not try something new

Even as the primary RB, Stewart just doesn't have much value. Carolina offense stinks. Cam and Tolbert get all the goal line looks.

I just don't trust any Carolina RB, haven't for the past couple years.

i mean im willing to take a shot at any featured back in a system, im 3-4 and my RBs are turner and mendenhall...with people going crazy over rashad jennings, i dont see why this guy isnt worth a shot? i would trade jennings for him no doubt...at least you know with stewart the talent is there, and the panthers are talking about serious changes, maybe this could be one of them...he probably wont come at a high price for trade, and hes even available as a free agent in a lot of leagues

yeah with your RBs it is def worth the risk to try Stewart. I have Mendy in one of league and I have no clue when he is going to be back. I read today maybe next week, but who knows.

Stewart sucks so bad, I would even buy him as a 3rd string flex player!

Not sold on Stewart yet but folks have been dumping DeAngelo for weeks now. In general, that offense they have been running down in Carolina is just not working this year. Really do think they have to start running the ball more.. Wasnt too long ago that Stewart had 1100 yards and 10 TDs. Heck, even last year he was a good option out of the backfield with close to 50 receptions.
