Ohio has a better offense although Buffalo averages more points per game. Ohio's defense is better as well. The only things I see that Buffalo has an advantage in is ppg and rushing yards against. Special Teams are nearly identical in the stats category. Buffalo hasn't won on the road this year.

Houston on paper for sure. Houston averages 39 ppg compared to Marshall's 19 ppg. Houston has twice as many passing yards this season. Similar rushing offenses although Houston has more yards and averages 4.6 yards per carry compared to Marshall's 4.0 yards per carry. Defenses give up similar ppg right around 26-28 range with Marshall having the advantage there. Houston has given up less passing yards per game this year. They have nearly identical stats for rushing defense. Houston averages 48 yards per punt, compared to Marshall's 38.

    There is the numbers.

Ohio/Buff is too close to touch when you have the Houston/Marshall game to jump on.
I see huge value in buying the Cougars down to 7..even on the road. The Thundering Herd's weakness is against the pass, which is Houstons strong suit, otherwise the ONLY other advantage in Marshall's home field, which hasn't paid dividends since the days of Chad Pennington and Byron Leftwich. This has smokeshow written all over it coming out right where their scoring averages...41-20

i've been burned all season on non-saturday road favorites. I'm probably going to stay away or take take the under. Weather should be an issue tonight.
