I like the over too. Got unlucky with the under in the phillies game. THat game were a few hits away from going over. I got a few picks tonite in football and basketball.

Auburn has bad offense against great SEC defense, also they were running that stupid spread which doesn't fit their team. There will be scoring tonight trust me.

I'm not sure what aspect of Auburn's inept offense would suggest that they'd 'soar' over the total! In 2 road games, Auburn has averaged 8 pts/game. Their defense has allowed approx. 13 pts/game overall in 7 games. West Virginia's defense has allowed under 12 pts/game at Home, and only averaged 17 pts/game vs. FBS schools. This score should be WAY Under

I don't know when people are going to start to realize that stats do not matter. You cannot judge a event in the present based on events in the past, they are independent of one another and until people start realizing that they will continue to lose. How did the Browns beat the Giants, the stats all pointed toward the Giants, because for that game the Browns were the better team. Tonight the defenses are not going to play good, look for atleast 3 plays over 40 yards. And as I said before one to two defensive TD's.

Maybe so, but in the long run going with the stats you will win. Stats dont speak to this one going over. Discipline is a key in this game.

Everyone in the SEC plays solid defense. Auburn was involved in a lot of low scoring conference games. West Virginia is not going to try to run the ball against auburn's stubborn run defense. West Virginia will throw more passes than rushes. Auburn also put up 21 points against LSU earlier in the season.

Ok then I have a challenge for you, cause I say stats in the long term and you lose, and do you know why, because the odds makers are better at analyzing stats then you are and they set spreads accordingly, sure they make mistakes but in the long run they are better then you and I are. So here is my challenge, I will start thread, my next 50 picks against yours, you can use your stats, and I will use my formula we will see which does better.
