New Mexico has played BYU tough over the last 7 games. SIx of the last 7 meetings have been decided by a touchdown or less. In 2006, BYU defeated new mexico by 25 points.

BYU defeated New Mexico 31-24 in 2007. Even with 5 turnovers, New Mexico kept the game close losing only by a td. New Mexico probably would have won the game if it had not been for the turnovers.

This spread is highly inflated for a conference game between two very competitive teams.

Any thoughts on this game.

The TT looks good... I'd play it 1hf 2hf and game... Byu will win this but 23.5 seems like a strecth...

BYU has it's eye on a BCS game, so I highly doubt they'll take NM lightly. Last two home games for BYU (UCLA, Wyoming) 103-0 combined. They went 11 straight quarters without allowing a point until Utah St. scored some garbage points. The only thing that could get in BYUs way is a look ahead to next week vs. TCU. I think they win easily, and may even shut out N.Mex.

the upcoming road tcu game for byu is on a thursday (short week, might rest players if game is in hand)
if nmex cant run i dont think theyll be able to pass well either
they might get those garbage points late
