this team does suck this year, maybe texas will beat'um this year. the sick part is, if you throw enough points my way, i'd probly be stupid enough to take the sooners in that red river shootout game

Lot of rebuiling there to be done, I don't get how they fell that hard that fast, Miami lost more talent then them in recent years and hasnt fallen this bad.

Yeah, I was expecting Peterson to go nuts but he was such a non-factor I was shocked. Another game like that and he might have no hope for the Heisman. Oklahoma's QB was embarrassing to watch as well. Stoops is probably wishing now he took any NFL job a couple of years ago because if his team continues to play like this those offers are going to disappear.

Any chance of playing for the National Championship one year and not playing in a bowl game the next year. I have to think they can go 5-3 in the Big XII, but they are not looking good at all.

Peterson will not even get drafted when he is ready to come out
Plenty of backs just as good or better

I don't know if its overexaggeration as much as it is prematurity. Pederson is only a sophomore. He's got the rest of this season, next season, and another season after that. By the time this kid is a senior, who knows where he'll be going in the draft? This reminds me of the Manny Ramirez is one of the best 5 hitters ever thread. Maurice Clarett was drafted in the third round, barring injury, there's no reason to think that Pederson won't be drafted when he's ready to leave school.

QB play is just huge in college football, and these guys don't have much of it...

There will be some good opportunities to bet OU in the next couple weeks especially as Big 12 play kicks off.
Remember Ohio St last year and how they started out...should be a similar situation for OU this year. Just recognize there will be value with them.

Saw this prop on bodog today... just curious what people thought of it...
Will the Oklahoma Sooners finish the season ranked in the Top 25 ?
Yes -120
No - 120
besides the obsurd juice (hell ignore that last coment this is bodog... ;-) ) I would probably play the no...

QB play is so huge in college football...and OU just doesn't have any right now...I also think they really miss Mike Stoops...could be a real long year...

Yes we do miss MIKE. But cant complain. Just gots to stay strong and live through it. Bomar is the real deal and everyone will know it by seasons end (Im not saying they gonna win all the games from now on though). Should be next year by the time him and Peterson are complimenting each other.
PS - Our backup QB is now becoming a receiver. We need major help at that position as well.
