First off, I am a Wisconsin Fan, and this is strictly my opinion.
Fresno is playing this game to be the biggest home game in their programs history. WI is the highest ranked team to ever visit Bulldog Stadium. In addition, this is the first time that two ranked teams will visiti Bulldog Staduim. Wisconsin is going into this game as a 2 point favorite on most betting sites.
One of the biggest factors will be how Wisconsin will be helped out by the return of star tight end Travis Beckum. This will help compensate the one-dimensional offense with P.J. Hill. Wisconsin's biggest flaw this year has been their lack of offense in the first few possession (falling into a 14-0 defect at the end of the first quarter to Marshall).
Last week against Rutgers, The Bulldogs were just 3-of-13 on third down against Rutgers. In addition, the Bulldogs had just six first downs and 102 yards at the intermission. Needless to say, they had no problem moving the ball against Rutgers in the 2nd half.
If Wisconsin can score on one of their first two possessions, they will have no problem winning this game. A balanced offensive attack, vs a moderately strong Fresno Defense will be the key to success.
I'll take Wisconsin (-2) @ Fresno, in what could shape up to be a great game.
