My first instinct was to take OVER 17 in the second half, but was concerned that Vandy wouldn't be able to score. So I talked myself out of it because I thought taking SC was safer bet. So much for thinking!!!

So, unfortunately I gave it all back in the second half in another "Tennessee/UCLA-like second half." It is absolutely amazing the dramatic turnarounds that UCLA & Vandy have made in the second half of their games. I don't recall seeing a game that had such a dramatic second half turnarounds in a long, long time. Just a complete metamorphisis for both teams in the second half. Unreal!!!

So far this year, I've played almost exclusively underdogs and I've hit 100% on those dogs. Twice I have place wagers on favorites, and both were losers. Guess I need to stick with the dogs huh?

Well, I just have to take that lump and move on. I'm very confident about this weekend. I think we have some of the same picks.

It's about good coaches making adjustments in the locker room. A lot can be said about Neuheisel, but he's a great coach, much better than Fulmer for Tennessee (who will be fired at the end of the season). As for last night's game, Spurrier just doesn't impress me and never really has. He was outcoached.

Crackerjack, I knew that before I bet the game. The only reasons I could find not to bet Tennessee was coaching (Neuheisel & Chow), and the fact that it was a 3000 mile road trip.

In the South Carolina game, however, I wasn't too concerned about Spurrier being out-coached.

Ok, here we go for Saturday!!!.

There is a possibility that the Connecticut/Temple & Georgia Tech/Boston College games could be effected by tropical storm Hannah. According to the lastest weather reports, it appears that both of these games will end prior to the bulk of the storm reaching Philly & Chestnut Hills. The nature of the inclement weather will be high wind and heavy rain. If there is bad weather in these games, I believe it'll favor the underdog in both games.

Early Games:

Temple +6.5 vs. Connecticut

Georgia Tech +6.5 @ Boston College (Best Bet)

Air Force +3 @ Wyoming

Night Games:

Duke +6

Western Michigan -6 vs. Northern Illinois (Best Bet)

Minnesota +5 @ Bowling Green

Late Night Games:

Nevada +10 vs. Texas Tech

Stanford +14 @ Arizona State

Texas -26.5 @ UTEP

Strong Leans:

Southern Miss +18 @ Auburn

Alabama -29.5 vs. Tulane

Tulsa -22 @ North Texas

i dont deserve to make a nother thread after my disappointing week
after thursday miserable loss , I should of pulled off my gut feelers like boston college fla atlantic and cincinatti. thats what i get for betting on crappy teams
east carolina , ole miss , glad they were mid day games i shot at them
one of those days , where i hoped to break even because i sured did need the money
oh well ,y picks will not get their own thread next week.
nut what ever the ohio state line and usc is ill be taking that one . and probable the alabama line , they played too flat to have that happen again , what the phuck , bet you had a long drive home , but i ve seen em play bad and loose so thats got to be great to see em play vbad and win.
i had tulane 6 and alabama 3 twice that crap kicker missed the field goal kicker to kill my square . $300 i would of won on that square . . guess that the ten commandments came into play there
