can someone confirm for me if mike sherman will be coaching for a&m? i know he was fired but sometimes they are allowed to coach the bowl game.

edit - hes not coaching them.

any other information regarding coaching changes would be great - i have a lot of stuff written down, but in some cases its still not clear who will be coaching the game.

bottom line - if a coach is voluntarily leaving a program, but is coaching that final bowl game (i fade)...if a coach (who was liked) is fired but allowed to coach the bowl game (i play). if a coach is fired, and an interim is coaching the bowl game, i lean towards fading that team.

or if a coach leaves for another school, and they so happen to be facing that school (Urban Meyer - see Florida play)

(2.5u) Arizona State +14_I am going the other way here for a few reasons. First, I love the fact that Erickson will coach the Wildcats this one last time even though he was fired. After a 6-2 start, Ariz St collapsed while losing their final four games - thus Erickson took the fall. I expect the players to really get up for their former coach versus a Boise St team that is not happy to be in this bowl. Boise has not been the same team this season as in years past (4-8 ATS as favorites). Obviously a 13 point Boise win would be ideal.

I would have thought you would have taken TCU, why do you like LaTech. They were first in the WAC but they could have easily been 2nd or third. I leaned TCU so would like to know what stands out to you. Just want to know what you are thinking.

-TCU just missed a BCS bid, so im not sure they will be motivated for this game
-La Tech is 7-0 ATS as dogs this year, so to me thats a sign that they play with a chip on their shoulder when "underdogs"
-La Tech hasnt been to a bowl since 2008, so i expect them to be fully motivated
-LATech has an excellent run defense (TCU's strength is running) but usually with extra preparation time, the defense has the edge.
-I like the early movement

yeah, the last 5 meetings between these 2 teams have averaged 36ppg and i see no reason why they would all of a sudden produce a game in the 60's. army has a horrible offense, and both teams do nothing but run the ball. as long as most of the runs arent for consistent first downs (which will stop the clock) i feel this should be around a 27-17 Navy win. with all the extra prep time, that should help the defenses somewhat - these are 2 bad defenses however, so i know there will be some big plays.

Definitely my weakest sport, so i am going to go pretty conservative and just try to isolate the strongest plays i can find. I don't really handicap this sport as i do pro sports, so i will rely on line movements with light capping. I am going to hold myself to this criteria to keep myself in check.

• 1-2 unit plays with occasional larger plays if i'm up and hot.
• 1-2 plays a day during the week and a max of 6 games each Saturday.
