Machine Reports: 2-2
My other play today: http://forum.sbrforum.com/college-fo...u-florida.html
FSU leads the nation in sacks and they only give up 74.8 ypg rushing. That's not good for Jacory Harris because he relies on his scrambling ability. When he throws it, it's often disaster. He's already thrown 8 interceptions this year, normally because he tries to fit the ball into Hankerson even when Hankerson is double or triple covered. Miami was very lucky to win last week against Clemson, and wouldn't have without three Clemson turnovers.
Ponder is more accurate, with 8 TDs against 3 picks. He completes 61% of his passes. FSU figured some stuff out last week against a very good Virginia defense (#28 in scoring defense), and they showed that they have moved on from the OU embarassment. Simply put: FSU is more balanced offensively and has a defense that is at least as good (and I think slightly better) than Miami's, even with the OU game in there. I know this game is being played in Miami, but you have to realize that half of FSU's lineup is from Miami. This is like going home for them. This game should be a pick 'em, so I'll take the value. Final thought: Miami lost to Ohio State (whose strength of schedule is only #99 by the way). Enough said.
FSU +5.5
So my only two plays today are LSU +6.5 and FSU +5.5
