Those last two teams played very weak schedules relative to Ok State's. UL-Lafayette will probably score around 24 points against OK State's defense. So can OSU get to 49 points and cover? I'll go back to my first comments: Weeden to Blackmon all night.

OSU is 4-1 ATS head to head against Lafayette this year when you factor in today's spread against previous game results against similarly or better ranked competition (MOV vs SOS). Normally I would say that the danger in this game is OSU not being prepared for a weaker opponent. But not tonight: this is OSU's first road game and they are the only show tonight besides Rutgers. Plus they've had three more days to prepare than ULL.

The Cowboys are coming off a big come-from-behind win over Texas A&M last Thursday for all of the national audience to see. Now Oklahoma St. hits the road with public love behind it to play a game out of conference and against a team from a bad conference to top it off. This game spells letdown and well as puts the Cowboys into a Big XII sandwich. UL-Lafayette is coming off a big road win at North Texas to improve to 2-1 in the Sun Belt Conference. That was a big win for sake of the conference but also for confidence heading into this game as a loss there could have really deterred the energy. While the Cowboys have no interest in this game other than to come out with a win, the Cajuns have the same goal in mind and when you are dealing with two teams with the same objective, the team getting over three touchdowns has the big betting edge. Oklahoma St. brings in the nation’s second ranked scoring offense and third ranked total offense so it has been lighting things up on the field. It will be impossible for the Cajuns to stop the Cowboys offense and if they slow it down just a little, that could very well be enough with this number. The defense of UL-Lafayette is ranked rather low but in actuality has not been too bad as it has held half of its opponents to 378 or fewer yards and one of those was its lone non-conference game against another BCS school, Georgia. While the Cowboys can get up and down the field on offense, the defense allows their opponents to do the same. Oklahoma is ranked 96th in total defense and 91st in scoring defense and both are close to those rankings of the Cajuns with the strength of schedules being right in line as well. UL-Lafayette has struggled with its offense and has yet to find a groove in the running game. The total offense is ranked 95th but quarterback Chris Masson is ranked 72nd in total offense, which is a big jump. They will be able to move here. After defeating Kansas State in 2009 by a score of 17-15, the Cajuns are now 2-2 at home against the Big XII. This compares to a 0-14 record against the Big XII in 14 road games so the home field advantage is pretty big. Speaking of home field edge, the Cowboys have had that luxury all season as their first four games have been played at home making this their first true road game of the season. That only adds to the letdown and sandwich spots they are part of in this game. Playing against teams that are playing their first road game after a long homestand has been very lucrative over the years and even more so against teams playing with added confidence off a win in their last game. The Cajuns have not seen a number this big at home since 2002 and they will take advantage.

You can't parley that over with my Booky cause the spreads too big. If oak st doesn't cover over has to hit cause they will put up 40+ easy themselves. I got 250$ on oak st and will lay 110$ on over to win 100$
