I think Nebraska will cover the spread here ... they also had a week off to rest and prepare the game ... What do you guys think of this game ?

Leaning KState with the points. A few things to consider:
- Nebraska's QB is talented, but he's a freshman, and a few mistakes could lose this game for Nebraska.
- Nebraska has had some turnover problems (about twice as many as K State).
- K State also is coming off a bye, and Snyder has been terrific after byes.
- K State has played a slightly tougher schedule than Nebraska.
- K State won in impressive fashion over a dangerous UCLA team.
+12 is a lot of points to give a good team, at home, on a Thursday night.Comment -
From the area. I would lean towards Nebraska -12 but was hoping to get a number at 10 or below. I can envision 2 types of games here. 1) KSU gets behind by 2 scores and gets absolutely run out of the building (high scoring and lopsided (49-21 of that nature). 2) KSU gets an early lead and just grinds the clock to a low scoring loss. I don't see K-state winning in any scenario but the 1st quarter will be absolutely critical. K-State's QB is absolutely awful and they have no one behind him. He has not faced a defense like this and if he gets behind I think he cracks big time. On the other side, if KSU somehow gets an early lead, Bill Snyder will find a way to kill half this game on the ground and just try and get it to 4th quarter close. I personally think KSU gets handled pretty easily but would prefer to have the number a little lower. I do think Nebraska has the motivation and lay one on KSU if they can. BoPeep hates Snyder and I think Nebraska would like to leave the Big 12 with a mark.Comment -

I am a big 12 follower and I will tell you this is a very good play because:
1.Both teams rely heavily on the run so this is a good thing for unders especially since the total is 51...
2. Nebraska's defense is very very good I see them shutting the K-states defense down
3.Freshman QB so there the possibility of mistakes are very good
4.K-states offense is not very explosive at all I would be surprised if they score 14 points
The only way I see this going over is if K state just doesnt show up but with it being Thursday and at home i dont see them completely folding
