    Injury/Playing Updates for College Football
For those of you considering a few of these teams, here is an injury report

Maryland's best offensive player---Torrey Smith (WR) missed practice with a nagging undisclosed injury----Smith is expected to play on Saturday but may be limited. Maryland's starting QB Jamaar Robinson is also still hurt, and Maryland HC--Ralph Friedgen said he has yet to make a decision on his starting QB.

Boston College coach Frank Spaziani is reconsidering who his QB will be. Chase Rettig had been running with the first team all week, but has struggled to the point that Spaziani has said maybe all 3 of his QBs will play.

Purdue's Robert Mavre is out for the season with a torn ACL.

Austin Arnaud is expected to return to the starting QB role for Iowa State against Texas Tech.

Florida RB Jeff Demps----boot on after Kentucky game, still expected to play against Alabama.

Stanford's leading WR---Ryan Whalen still out against Oregon.

NC State may be without their starting RT---Mikel Overgaard. Overgaard missed last week with a right elbow injury and hasn't improved significantly this week.

NC State DT Markus Kuhn is also questionable with a right knee injury.

NC LB Quan Sturdivant is questionable with a hamstring injury.

Boston College RT Mike Goodman missed last week with an knee injury--out against Notre Dame.
