ND -2.5 vs BC. I feel that BC wins outright. anyone else see this.

BC should be a 3.5 point fav, but they looked fukin awful against a shitty VT that only score one TD & was in Red zone all the fukin time.

Although ND is slowly starting to play better than they have in recent years they are still losing many crucial games and just cannot execute down the stretch

Notre Dame is going to win this game.

Take a look at how close ND is to being 3-1. Stanford is just a much better football team than ND, but they lost to Michigan in the last few seconds, and lost to Michigan State on the last play of the game.

I think you would agree that ND is even with Michigan and Michigan State-----well, not much separates them anyway, so if Michigan or Michigan State were playing BC---who would you take in this spot?

            BC is horrific on offense.

ND has played 3 very good offensive football teams----Michigan, Michigan State, and Stanford are a thousand-fold better on offense than BC is.

They are having an open QB competition this week to replace Shinskie---and one of the QBs has never thrown a pass in a college game.

I think ND is the obvious pick in this one.

nice write up, too be honest i was doubtful that nd would win coming from a third straight loss, but not so much now

Under has value IMO. As bad as the O is in Chestnut Hill, the D is pretty good.

I have always been interested in ATS matchups like this, but I just can't pull the trigger on "Teams coming off a shutout loss"-----I just can't get past the week-to-week matchups in college football to put any confidence in systems such as these.

But they are fun to look at.

BTW, what is the record of a team coming off a home shutout loss ATS?

And is there a variable for 'new qb who has never thrown a pass" filter?

heck no! notre dame looks terrible right now. kelly needs to go ahead and start trying to recruit for next season instead of coaching their games, that's if he can still convince any kids to go there

That's just it---for the recruitniks here---Kelly has a unbelieveable class coming in----top 6 on ESPN, top 5 on Scouts---loaded with defensive talent.

I wouldn't say "ND looks terrible"---I would say they look like a team with a new coach/new system on both sides of the ball. Again, they are closer to being 3-1 than many want to admit.

Here's a question. What would BC's record be if they played ND's schedule? I would say the same 1-3. BC would have beaten Purdue---but they would have lost to Michigan, MSU and Stanford.

Unrelated. Stanford is a very very very good football team.

Be careful with ND they have not had a QB since Joe Montana! You just never know if they show up. ND has been taken off my list of teams to bet and should be taken off all of yours too! Just not a good team that gets to much hype. ND is dead not a power house program anymore. Leave the game for the suckers!
