I am a homer but I never bet with my heart it tends to be costly.
Every once in a while a game jumps out at me that screams get a second mortgage on the house and retire early.

Alabama -7 (I'm buying down to 6 1/2) is one of these games.

Arkansas squeaked by Georgia and had a whoping 7 point lead on Louisiana Monroe at halftime. Granted Alabamas opponents haven't been the greatest in the world but they do have a win against a top 25 Penn State.

Arkansas average rushshing 98 yds a game against crappy defenses. Alabama has individual running backs that can compete with Arkansas entire team.
Mallets a great quarterback so is Mcelroy passing - 43 completions 60 attempts 705 yds and 6 TDs oh and by the way this guy has not lost a game since he was in the 7th grade.

Which ever way you play it I wish you luck but I'm laying the wood on Alabama.

Even though I hate taking the public team of the day there is no way I can back Arkansas at only plus 7. Georgia is not very good at all so beating them by a TD doesn't mean much to me. Yeah, their QB is getting a lot of hype, but the same thing happened last week with Washington's QB and we saw how that turned out. Alabama has the complete team, I think they will win by a few scores.

Yeah good luck man. I'll be pulling for you. As a Virginia Tech alum, I have a lot of respect for the Alabama program. Nick Saban gets shyt done...just wish Beamer could get on that level, but that aint ever gonna happen.

Also, I would love for Bama to completely smash Boise St. in the NC....we should have had that game. I don't think Boise St. is as good as they are hyped up to be. A smash-mouth football team would push them all over the field.

If TCU/ Boise State make it, it is gonna be a hard fought game
