Seems pretty silly to me. Are they supposed to be intimidated by the blue? My guess is the crowd noise will be a bigger factor than the color of the playing surface.

the biggest problem though is they blend into the turf and it opens up big plays, Boise and Marshall are the two best home teams because their players are hard to see

when does boise have to give up that blue turf. ncaa said 6 or 7 yrs ago that when it is replace it has to be replaced with green turf. that crap has to be ragged as hell by now.
