Article: Home Sweet Home CFB System
    Very interesting article I found check it out;

    CFB Home Sweet Home System
    By: Cajun Sports

This week’s college football system is quite simple but very powerful when used against the point spread. The system supports home teams playing with momentum having won their two previous games at home.

System: Play ON a home team (not a favorite of more than 2 points or underdog of more than 6 points) off 2 home SU wins. This system has a record of 22-0-1 ATS.
This system has produced two winners already this season not only did these teams cover the spread they actually won their games outright as underdogs.

The first qualifying contest was on Friday September 17 when Nevada hosted California and were installed as a 2.5 point home underdog they defeated the Golden Bears 52 to 31. The second qualifying game came on Saturday September 18 when Temple hosted Connecticut as a 5.5 point home underdog and defeated the Huskies 30 to 16.

Those two wins improved the system’s record to 22-0-1 ATS and this system averages covering the spread by more than two touchdowns per game.

With all the system parameters met, this week’s CAJUN SPORTS NCAA Football System of the Week qualifies the Boston College Eagles as our Play ON team plus the points over the Virginia Tech Hokies on Saturday.

So does this mean I should lay into Boston College this week? BC already knocked of 2 really difficult teams thus far (Kent St and Weber St). All jokes aside they have been preparing for VT since week 1. Might put a little somethin on BC, but haven't watched them all year some info would be nice about them.

Pretty hard to argue with 22-0-1. But what time frame does that cover?

I am not sure what the timeframe was for the 22-0-1 record, I will try and get more info to post. BOL

Yea I definitely want to try and keep up with everything, at the very least track the progress over a few weeks. If it works out it could be very nice.

                      Meaningless, data mined small sample!

The more filters you add to a "system" like this, the less predictive it really is.

Do you mean it has less meaning than all those idiotic posts in this forum??? Or just meaningless in general, just curious.

Meaningless because it is only 22 games and it took a lot of filters to come up with it. If you analyze thousands of games, it not that hard to find subsets like this as you add more and more filters, which is the very definition of data mining.

Good intent here but if you search stats enough and trends you can find anything you want.

I'm sure there are certain trends that make a team 40-0, that doesn't mean the next 40 wont' go 0-40

there are thousands of possible trends and statistical abnormalities and outliers exist
