    Middle Tennessee St -1.5
Can anyone talk me out of this? Line opened at -3, has moved to -1.5. MT has a good passing game which is the weakness of Lafayette's D. Seems like this could really be good especially if that line keeps moving towards Lafayette.

    Anyone disagree?

I think MTSU is the play here, but I would defintely recommend waiting until Dasher's fate is decided by the NCAA. They should cover without him, but they will be a different team when he gets back. His eligibility may move the line a pt or 2, but that is nothing compared to his impact on MT's team. From the Lafayette paper..

"Dasher, the preseason Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year, would be the first choice for MTSU coach Rick Stockstill to have at the controls. Last year he became the fourth player in NCAA history to rush for 1,000 yards and pass for 2,500 yards in a season and accounted for 36 touchdowns as the Blue Raiders won 10 games.
In the preseason, Dasher was suspended four games for accepting a loan in violation of NCAA rules, meaning he wouldn't be eligible until after Saturday. MTSU (1-2) has appealed the suspension with the hope of reducing it to three games so Dasher could play against the league-leading Cajuns (1-1, 1-0 Sun Belt).
Here's the rub: MTSU won't hear the NCAA's ruling until late Thursday or early Friday morning when the team is already traveling to Louisiana."

MTSU's QB is out, and besides that UL of L should be a 7 point favorite. Lafayette is the play at home. MTSU lost to sorry ass Memphis!!! These teams split so it seems they alternate wins. MTSU won LY, its UL's turn this year LoL!

More local info on this game. UL will be getting their best defensive player, Sr LB Grant Fleming, as well as another starter in Jr CB Bill Bentley, back for Saturday's game. Bentley's addition gives the Cajuns back their depth in the secondary, but Fleming is the heart-and-soul of the defense and a huge key. He had a broken hand, so his ability to move should not be affected at all.

"Fleming made four tackles against Georgia before getting hurt in the second quarter. He missed the second half and had to undergo surgery the following week. He was a preseason All-Sun Belt Conference selection and a Lombardi Award watch list member."

Ok some insight form a guy that has bet on MTSU twice and against ULALA twice already this season...

Dasher is out.... Logan Kilgore who was named the starter at the beginning of the season was supposed to be the man out of JuCo but it has not turned out that way... he has a some serious issues when it comes to throwing it to the right color... I am assuming that both he and Jeff Murphy will see time at QB..Murphy seems a little better running the ball but is certainly not a threat to throw long TD passes...

As for ULALAs pass D... I think it is a bit better than projected... they gave up a ton of yards in the 4th Q against Ark St and also were great against the run which would really limit MTSU since they like to run draws and sweeps to set up the long ball on play action...

I still feel that ULALA has some QB issues of their own and would be very shocked if they score more than 20 pts in the game which would lead me to believe that MTSU is still the play because their offense still can move the ball with a 3rd string QB... and the loss to Memphis was fueled by turnovers and just plain bad luck...

According to local radio, they are on the phone with the NCAA right now about getting Dasher cleared for this weekend.

I am not by any means saying he is going to be cleared for this weekend, but they are talking right now to the ncaa about it
