    NCAAF Week Four Picks
    College Football 2010-2011 Overall 8-6 -0.90 units (57.14%)
    College Football 2010-2011 2 Unit Plays 1-3 -4.60 units (25.00%)

At least I had my first winning week last week. G. Tech - UNC game went pretty much like I thought it would. The Iowa-Arizona game didn't really go like I expected to and Iowa showed a lot of heart at the end of the game coming back the way they did. I don't think Arizona's d-line could be as good as they looked, especially on that last drive. I also don't think Stanzi is as bad as he looked, something's gotta be up with that O-line because they looked horrible. Didn't see a split second of the NC State game. Washington was the team that ****** me, after everything I thought about Locker, I for some reason bet on him...

    Leans for Week Four

    Pitt +3.5
    Boston College +3.5
    Alabama -7
    Oregon St +15.5
    BYU +3.5
    South Carolina +2.5
    WVU +7

Any opinions or just Tips in general would be appreciated

Be careful with the BYU game....don't base this pick based solely on the past. I would probably just avoid this game altogether.

The public is hammering Alabama -7, get it while it's still low.

Pitt game - not betting it. I want too, but losing Romues hurts us bad. Sunseri is also totally unproven and the O-line kind of blows. I'm hoping Deon Lewis explodes for a big game. But an injured d-line against a fast QB can't be good. Our secondary might just be bad as well. I really want to bet Pitt, but I just wont. Go Pitt!

          V. Tech -3 (-135) to win 1 unit

I actually meant to post V. Tech as my lean last night, not BC. I bought down a point for the FG just in case but I think this could be a blow out. V. tech has looked shitty at times this season. But they looked to have turned it around a Eastern Carolina team and they might be just what they need. I think this will be the beginning of there turn around and they probably go on to contend for the ACC championship. Boston College hasn't played anyone this season, Weber St and Kent St. Last year V. tech obliterating BC 48-14. Tyrod Taylor barely touched the ball (7/10 passes). The running game was crushing. I think it goes the same way this year.

VTech is a great play at -3ish if you can get it there. BC looks OK this year, and VT woke up (finally) last week. ACC play - Hokies shine.

Miss St pick -110 to win 1 unit

This team is a lot better at home then they look on paper. They only won 2 games at home last year, but if you consider who they play thats not as bad as it looks. Florida, Alabama, G. Tech, LSU and Houston are the teams they lost too. All pretty good teams. I feel like Georgia is slowly a program on the downgrade while Miss St is on there way up. They showed a pretty good showing against Auburn and probably should have won. Georgia was pathetic against SC. Georgia's defense also didn't look too good against Arkansas. Mallett might be a good QB, but you shouldnt lose the way they did if you want to consider yourself a good team. Also Georgia has a few injuries and AJ Green being out can't help either.

Alabama -7 to win 1 unit

I feel theres not a lot of explaining to do here. If Alabama's defense shuts down Mallett then Bama should win this one pretty easily, and they certainly have the defense to do that. They have a great running game so they can maintain possession of the ball if they get a lead.

Auburn -3 to win 2 units

Did a complete 180 on this. It basically comes down to Stephen Garcia who I just dont trust. Auburn has been pretty lucky to win the last 2 games so I think thats why people will be jumping all over SC. South Carolina played well against Georgia, but they've had 2 easy games other wise. This Auburn team is slowly improving the last couple of years and I think you see them win easily in the end. The home field advantage really pushed me over with this.
