A picture is worth a thousand words, but in this case we need only one; Penalty. That makes no sense to me at all. Great pic though, proof positive, without a doubt, that was a delay of game.

I saw a tweet from the Big Ten office saying there was still 2-3 seconds left, regardless of what that clock said.

The clock you see is unofficial.

An official has the actual play clock, and would have blown the play dead had the snap been late.
