#2Because Navy proved last week that they have the worst coach in football in America. Not college football, but all of football. I will fade Navy every game this year.Comment -

#4...played poorly last week against a crap AA team, and looked crappy in the first week with their hot-head coach.
...so yeah, -4 sounds about right vs Lousy-anna Tech

#6I was actually referring to the Maryland game Las Monday where he went for a 4th and goal on the 1 instead of an easy field goal for a tie and overtime. Instead they lost by 3. Total blunder on his part. He looked like a fool, and rightfully so.Comment -

1. Georgia Southern is far from a crappy AA team... Georgia Southerns QB is a transfer from Georgia Tech and runs the triple option about as smooth as anyone out there... he could be starting for Navy next year had he taken the offer from them instead of Tech 3 years ago... He left Tech because he wanted to play so bad and so he went back to the Paul Johnson root of the trip option in Ga Southern...
2. "Jeff Monken the new Ga Southern head coach is a link to great Georgia Southern teams, and he's reinstalled the once-vaunted triple option as their offense. Monken is a disciple of former Navy coach Paul Johnson, having coached under him at Georgia Southern, Navy and Georgia Tech. Both teams run similar options, so it was hard for either team to surprise the other with trickery. In an ugly affair, there were 17 first downs and 302 yards - combined."
Just think of it this way... Maryland may be a sleeper in the ACC and Navy should have won that game were it not for bad fumbles and a non 4th down conversion... Navy can run their offense on anyone that does not know all the ins and outs like the back of their hand... Example... You think Turner Gill did not know how to coach his guys up against Ga Techs scheme last week? I mean Gill is likely one of the top 5 option QBs of all time... Kansas had no business being in that game, or so people thought...
I love Navy in the game by three scores...
