VA TECH/ECU... can someone please shed some light?

This doesn't make sense to me. Obviously VAtech has more talent but they are clearly not on the same page right now... Tough loss to Boise followed by loss to James Madison. ECU on the otherhand is playing pretty well and has averaged 50 points a game. I know they wont put up those numbers against vatech but with 20 points and the ability to score, you would think they can hang around in this game and definitely cover. ... What am missing?? This has to be a trap.

I have to agree with this statement. I am angry that I took them at +17.5 and an hour later it was at +19.5 but I dont think I will need the 2 points. VaTech wins the game but they are in disarray. VT loses a game and they cash in the season it seems like.

Early money seems to be coming in on ECU and the points. Take that for what you will...admittedly on first glance I thought ECU but there's likely a reason behind that line moving from -17.5 to -19.5. It's not adding up to me since VTech has sketchy defense right now and ECU has shown an ability to score points.

Right... It looks like most of the money has been on ECU since line opened. Why is it still moving up? Can anyone justify why vatech -19.5 would be a good play here?? I want to take ECU but this seems too fishy

We could be looking at money coming in at -19.5 and not overall...but even at -17.5 I like ECU. I could be over-thinking this too much and trying to outsmart myself but I can't understand why the Hokies are given such a huge spread after their latest exploits.

It's because the loss to Jame Madison was orchestrated in order to kill Boise St. chance at a National Title. Boise St. beat Va. Tech, then Va. Tech beat Boise by losing to James Madison. Now the real Va. Tech, the "Darkhorse" is back and their playing Beamer Ball to the max. That is the only reason I can figure for Va. Tech to be favored by 19.5 points. Mostly joking, but you never know.
