It sure appears to be that way if you study the wagering patterns of the last twp games televised by ABC/ESPN. Joe Pub jumps all over Va. Tech and Miss. State in the afternoon and just before game time. Both start the day as dogs of 2.5 to 3, and end up either being favored, having the game be a Pk, or being a slight dog. Both teams lose outright by 3points. It certainly appears that Joe Pub is being taken to the cleaners here, as usual. The one suprising thing is that normally, it takes a few weeks into the season before Joe Pub starts getting played in weekday games.
