2-1-1 (+0.9 Units YTD)
Lets hope all the pre-season research I did (about 2 hours) pays off in Week 1, which is notorious for having some potentially lucrative lines.... (all bets made on BetOnline Thursday night and Friday)
MICHIGAN -2.5 vs. UConn (4 UNITS)
If Coach Rodriguez wants to avoid be publicly tarred and feathered in the Big House by the Big Blue Faithful, he better win this game. Michigan fans will not accept another poor season. UConn is seemingly overrated every year, and have never played in as intimidating venue as Michigan Stadium. I think MUs offense will dominate.
NEBRASKA -37.5 vs. W. Kentucky (-105) (3 UNITS)
Finally, a season with huge expectations in Lincoln. Nebraska destroyed 3 Sun Belt teams last year by a combined 142-12. WKU was 0-12 LY and will again be the worst team in the Sun Belt. I expect a shutout, so its only a matter of whether NU will score 38 point. I say Yes.
OKLAHOMA -33.5 vs. Utah St. (-105) (3 UNITS)
OU has National Title aspriations and want to make a big statement in Week 1. Running up the score will matter this year, with Boise St. a likely candidate to go undefeated and screw with the BCS. OU has a history of dominating non-conference fodder at home, and this one should be no different.
NORTHWESTERN -3 @ Vandy (-115, bought .5 point) (2 UNITS)
This would be more intriguing of a matchup if it were an academic bowl of some kind. The reality is, Vandy's brief run at mediocrity will take a step back this year whereas Northwestern returns enough starters to feel confident that they can get another 8-win season. QB Persa will start right where Kafka left off in the spread offense. N'Wrn Big.
ARMY -9 @ E. Michigan (-105) (1 UNIT)
Army won this game easily last year, and has an experienced team back to whoop ass again. E. Mich had trouble against the run last year, and something tells me an 0-12 team ain't gonna do a 180 and all of sudden know how to stop a triple option. I hate giving this many points, but Army looks to be the clear choice here.
A Couple FCS games may be added Saturday.... Good Luck!
