I can't wait till next year. We ought to have at least 3 teams in the BCS. It's us against them. Bring it on!

#2It can't happen, because only two teams from the same conference can go to a BCS game (although the SEC will certainly have at least four of the top eight talent-wise I'll admit)...Comment -

#4Ohio State wasn't necessarily outclassed last night in terms of talent. They were out-coached, and were dominated in the 2nd quarter. That's where they lost the game.
They should have altered protection assignments on the edges, done something in order to combat the pressure the QB was feeling, because he clearly didn't have a quick enough release to negate that pressure himself. He held the ball far too long on many different occasions and it cost them.
Even when his line held up enough for him to scan down the field, when nothing was there or he didn't see anything he liked, he still held onto the ball way too long just waiting in limbo.Comment -

#5The SEC put 9 teams in bowl games and ended up with a record of 7-2 and a national championship.
The maybes of so and so teams being better aren't gonna hold any water until a play-off system is in place. We in the SEC have wanted one for a long time. This is the only sport that doesn't have one. All other levels of college football have a play-off system.Comment -

Can someone name a year where both the PAC10 and the Big Ten were left out of the BCS championship game?Comment -

#8well the first championship game was tn/fsu. so thats one.
moving on, next year lsu, tn, fla, and uga will have 4 of the top 6 or 7 most talented rosters in the nation. south car will be much better, bama will be loaded in the near future, and auburn will be sending as many players to the NFL as anyone outside the SEC but USC and maybe Texas.
there is def something to the love affair from the media with the big-10. hell, osu had more heisman winners than the SEC coming into this season.
