    Careful With UCLA In Opener
UCLA's quarterback Kevin Prince said yesterday after practice that he might not be healthy enough to play against Kansas State in the September 4 opener. Prince has a strained oblique muscle and still hasn't fully recovered. He said he doesn't want to jeopardize the entire season just so he can play in the first game.

If Prince does not play, backup Richard Brehaut would become the starter. He played in 6 games last season.
