Nebraska in week 1.

Nebraska -33 is my favorite game of the opening week. I know it's alot of points but I expect Nebraska to beat Western Kentucky by at least 50. I am not a Nebraska fan at all, matter of fact they are my most hated team but I will bet large on them this game. Western Kentucky is one of the worst teams in D1.

one blown assignment or bad turnover blows a 33 pt spread out of the water if WKU has two plays the whole game that turn out 10 pts that means Nebraska has to put up 6 td's and a FG to cover. Spreads that big make me nervous. But WKU is god awful you hit that on the head.

But on the other hand, I can see Nebraska pulling their starters early...although the 2nd string is very capable of keeping the pedal down!

Anything could happen in college sports, but this is not likely. A "blown" play in a game like this would likely result in a faster Nebraska player chasing down and tackling a receiver for a 20 yards gain, not a 70 yard TD. Remember this, guys, a very mediocre Tennessee team beat this same WKU team, 63-7 in the opening game last year.

Pelini has been feeding the Big Red Monster all during the offseason and he better deliver the goods early in this game. The Cornhuskers have high expectations this season, which I think are going to fall short of the goal, but it will not happen this game.
