He was my coach at Florida... Always hyped you up before practice, saying, "Great day to be alive".

Unfortunately, his daughter just passed away in a tragic car accident a few weeks ago. A young guy crossed over a 2 lane road into her car head on. I'm not sure if the kid was drunk, I think he fell asleep. Tough loss, One of the reasons Kines retired was to spend time with her and the kids. Much prayers for him and the family.

The report seems to say it happened during the day and the 18 year old was in the car with other 18 year olds, so he probably wasn't asleep. Nor is there anything about him being drunk. Someone else said it was a tire blowout. Many other people were injured as a result but no updates on their status.
