I agree that it'll be a close race, right now I'm leaning towards Pitt, but it's always a risk going with Wanstedt. One early line I love is UCONN +3 at Michigan in week 1. Probably end up taking the ML on that one. I really like Edsall and think they'll have a solid team. Enough to win the conference? That I am not too sure about.

Uconn definitely has the favorable schedule. WVU, Pitt, and Cincy all at home.

As a Uconn fan, I hope your prediction is right! It is huge getting those top teams at home...

This race is wide open. It is the Big East. UConn has an advantage in the schedule, but that is about it. Everything else is pretty equal. Gun to head, maybe West Virginia, who has defeated UConn in every game they have played (6-0) and is 5-1 ATS (3-0 at UConn).
