    Hawaii vs Nevada?
Does anyone know why the Hawaii vs. Nevada game is not listed on the schedule for Friday on here or other Sportsbook's?

Is it because there might still be some question about whether Colt Brennan will play?

Every indication I have seen is that he will play, but I suspect his concussion is what's delaying the line.

By the way, I can't wait to see the over for this game.

Careful Tchocky. Nevada's D can be real bad at times. If Brennan plays (and I think he will), and the conditions are right, Hawaii could put some serious points up.

However, there are some things that might work against the over, and keep me from betting it: (1) the over is going to be huge, because of both teams' high scores this year; (2) Hawaii's excellent run defense; (3) the weather; (4) Brennan's injury.

If Hawaii shuts down Nevada's run game, Nevada may not put a lot of points on the board.

The forecast for Friday in Reno is mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of showers. (It's artificial turf (FieldTurf) at Mackay stadium though.)

I think Brennan is going to play, but I am thinking that if they get a big lead, you might see him come out of the game before it is over.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this one yet, if anything. I'll wait and see the lines.

Good luck to you however you play it.

Line is out. I'm rethinking my position because Nevada is only getting 7 points.

            1. Hawaii -7
            2. Under 79

If Colt is healthy, I think Hawaii covers the number...

ive been looking at this game for a few weeks now, i just dont believe hawaii is going undefeated this year, and this was the spot on the road that i felt the loss was most likely to come, ill be on nevada plus the td spot for 1/2 -1 unit, but the line is already telling me something being that its only 7.5. . . i have watched nevada play 4 or 5 times this year, and i enjoy watchin them, they havent always came through for me, but i just think this crowd is going to be ready this fri night, and i look for nevado to pull the upset. . .

                        Louisville:

You're right that the crowd will be ready. This will be, by far, the biggest game this season at Nevada. And the Pack is a terrific home team anyway. There is definitely some significant home-field advantage in this game for Nevada.

Also, I also have doubted (on this board in fact) that Hawaii will go undefeated, and with Nevada at home, coming off a bye, and hungry, I was thinking this might just be the game.

I was leaning toward sitting out this game and just watching it on TV, but I could not pass it up when the line came out. I was expecting something around -14. At -7, I'll either win some cash with Hawaii, or I'll pay to see the upset.

By the way, it's looking like there will not be much inclement weather in Reno tomorrow.

                        Best of luck to you.

I'm taking a shot on Nevada in this game. I've seen several Hawaii games and I don't think they get it done in this spot.

Seeing this line (and the fact that it has now dropped to 6!) has me questioning whether Brennan really is playing.

It will be a 5 minutes before kick play if I play for me. Friday night, only game on, can't see me not playing it. leaning toward under.

Remember Haw's close calls on the road at LaTech and SanJose and that was with Brennan not coming off injury.

Here's an odd thing people are saying about this game. If Hawaii wins, they are one step closer to a possible BCS berth. If Hawaii gets a BCS berth, it may mean another bowl opportunity would be open for the WAC, possibly for Nevada. But, if Nevada wins, it is possible that the Warriors would take a bowl opportunity away from the Wolf Pack. That's what I'm hearing anyway.

Personally, I have my doubts about Nevada getting into a bowl whether they win or lose this game.

Also, this is not to say that the Wolfpack will play to lose. They won't. It's just a gee-wiz thing.
