they already lost to that veteran team utah and cam rising once, you do not think it can happen again?

georgia, michigan and even tcu all get in if they lose close games.

if USC loses even by One Point, they are OUT

and Utah was -1 in turnovers in that game and still won.

utah coach Kyle Whitt is a stud coach and so is his QB.

lincoln and caleb are awesome, but this may be too soon for them.

utah looks like a good shot to go from rose bowl team last year to CFP this year.

    VEGAS baby.

USC was +3 in turnovers vs ucla and only won by 3 points.

USC was +2 in turnovers vs ND

utah utes take care of the ball better than ucla and ND do.

i won't even mention what happened less than a month ago where they struggled to put away hapless arizona

the following week they could not put away CAL

    look out for UTAH here

go Moneyline on this dog instead of points.

rising sucked huge against oregon a team they manhandled twice last year, zero tds and 3 ints and they still only lost by 3, he plays halfway decent we'd be talking about them and a playoff spot perhaps. I dont see usc losing this game and they shouldnt have lost the first game, they were being knuckleheads. if anyone remembers the late drives where they were being called for stupid penalties, the defense wasnt good but they were pretty much scoring at will.

The AP and Coaches polls have ohio state #5 and bama #6.

Expect the CFP committee to do the same ranking for those two squads.

    Neither team plays next week.

So you're saying one idle team will jump another.

    No staker. Not happening.

If the committee could somehow rig it so it was #1 Georgia #2 Michigan #3 Ohio St. #4 Bama they would. That would be the biggest rating playoff ever. Nobody wants to watch a Pac or Big12 team get shellaced by the big dog. All that needs to happen is USC loses to a team that already beat them and the Deuce gets loose vs TCU. You're lying to yourself if you don't want it. We already saw what happens when a whack Pac tries to play with the big dog. We don't need to run it back.

    far from over.

the UC Regents are fighting it big time.

they are not in the B1G until they start a football schedule there.

it can go either way until the final minute.

Incorrect, UCLA is being fought over, USC is not part of the California system, they're private

correct, but those two schools ARE the LA Market so they go together or they stay together.

the public vs private convo is immaterial in this move.

they are very much tied together in this move to the B1G.

UC Board of Regents trying to keep UCLA in the conference as the REV is so important for the entire UC System.

there is a lot going on behind the scenes that we do not know about.

just like there was a lot going on when it was sprung on the world that they are leaving together.

The committee could easily rig it; they could simply make that the ranking and it's done.
