college football picks 10/27/07

Its a little early but right now i like the following picks.
1. NC STATE +3.5
2. MARYLAND +3.5
3. UAB +14
4. PENN ST +3.5
5. SOUTH FLORIDA -5
6. COLORADO +12.5
7. TEXAS A&M +2.5
8. UTEP +4
9. ARKANSAS ST +14
10.MEMPHIS -1

SOME OF THESE UNDERDOGS WILL WIN OUTRIGHT. I really like Texas A&M against Kansas who I don't have much respect for. Neither do the oddsmakers. They set this spread really low and they know as well as we that Kansas will lose a game very soon. They did not want to favor Kansas by 7-8 points because gamblers like me would be all over it on both the moneyline and plus the points. Last year Texas A&M went into Kansas and defeated them. The aggies should build a lot of confidence going into this game especially after thrashing Nebraska. The fairy tale season of Kansas appears to be over and they are not that strong. They had breaks go their away against an improving Colorado team. And being a conference game and being tied with Oklahoma (3-1 in conference play), Texas A&M should keep the game close. I would buy a point and half to take the spread to 4 points. Hopefully there will be plenty of takers for Kansas. Anyone has an opinion on this game, I like to know about it.

I think you have some valid points about the KU line, except no one was giving them respect before the CU game & still aren't. I see it that their off season hard work is paying off. KU is not "looking ahead" to anyone for the next couple weeks, so I say they'll be plenty focused on TAMU, who's win vs. NEB is no big deal in my book.
I really think it is a priority for KU to remain undefeated. This team is prepared & focused. Again, like you said, line says anticipation of their first defeat?

Going to summons the Gambler to get his thoughts on this one. I've been rollin w/KU 1stH lately with success, was looking to do it again vs TAMU.
