TEams with Heisman Trophy winners do not win NC's. THe only team to do it recently was USC and Matt Leinart back in 2003. I have noticed that there has been a pretty decent groundswell for Gerhart. He is always mentioned as the #1 or 2 candidate. I think the two QB's and Suh have no chance. Tebow should net even be there. I think it is between Gerhart and Ingram, and I sure would not take Ingram and give 7/2.

Betting on anyone besides Ingram or Gerhart is just putting your money through a paper shredder.

I still think Ingram wins the Heisman trophy though, since the Heisman voting is swayed so much by team success. It's very rare for a Heisman winner to come from a four loss team (when Tebow won it, LSU with 2 losses won the national championship and Florida was still ranked 12th prior to playing their bowl game).

Gerhart also hasn't played in any big time games that the whole nation watched too... the most meaningful game they played was probably against Oregon, and at the time nobody cared about Stanford until they pulled off the upset.

My money is on Ingram.....I don't care as long as it is not a f'ing premadonna azz QB in my perfect world SUH is all worthy of it call me a homer but this award is supposed to be about the best player in college football and I challenge you to tell me who is better, not only that he is a lineman for crying outloud and he does the dirtywork haters realize that he will be the # 1 pick we may not hear about the rest of these guys again but you will forever hear about SUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
