I actually think they are doing this one right.
I think what has been proven is that no one outside of Jack Swarbrick knew how he was conducting his search. There was no tracking of ND planes, there was no official offers rejected.
Coaches have said they are not going to be the next ND coach (Stoops, Meyer), but ND never publically put an offer for everyone to see.
It is going to be Kelly---and Cincy has their football banquet tomorrow night----which is probably why they are waiting to announce it.
But I think they are doing a decent job at keeping the lid tight.Comment -
Without a doubt, Brian Kelly is going to Notre Dame. It will be announced Friday and Defensive backs Coach Kerry Combs will coach UC in the Sugar Bowl. With all due respect, what do you know? No one outside of AD Swarbrick and Pres. Father Jenkins know what ND is doing. They could be trying to bring Kelly's agent back to reality, Kelly's interview could have gone horribly, they could have absolutely no interest in Edsall at all. Until ND says anything publicly, it's all speculation.Comment -
