    Those poor lowly Longhorns...geez
How in the world can a scrub of a team like Texas hang with now the team of the decade? Here's how...

Texas teams under Mack know how to win football games...period. 11 straight 10 win seasons with a National Championship and 3 BCS bowl wins. Whether good or bad they have pulled out so many games by the ying yang its mind numbing. They JUST win and have serious mojo with Colt at the helm. Sure the Horns may not beat Bama but for those who think its a slam dunk Bama just hammers the Horns are WAY off.

Speaking of the SEC, didn't Okie. St. spank UGA which in turn the Horns demolished OSU?

There is no doubt the SEC is a great Conference every year but for some of you good folks to say the Horns would be a middle of the pack team are dreaming.

The Horns are 7-0-1 lifetime against Bama, they beat a Saban coached LSU team by 15 in the 03' Cotton Bowl, Miss. St 99' Cotton Bowl, Auburn twice in the 80's and lost to UGA in the 83' Cotton Bowl to win the NC and are 2 and 2 against Arkansas the last 10 years. Not to freaking shabby for a spare of a program that will be lucky to stay on the field Jan. 7.

One thing i would be VERY concerned about as Bama fan, the D doesn't seem to get any kind of a pass rush. Tebow had all day to throw and if Colt has that much time he will catch fire.

With Ingram winning the Heisman this will be the same set up when Vince was snubbed by Bush. This along with the big underdog crap is going to be huge for the Horns. Hopefully they can stay undefeated against one of the SEC's TOP programs.

OSU had their full complement of players against UGA

McCoy is a system QB. He can only throw screens, and out into the flats. He throws deep, but not any hard throws. Usually the guys are wide open against the horrid D's that reside in the Big 12.

TX total amount of TD's against the two teams in the Big 12 with real D's..... 2 TD's. One against Oklahoma, and One against Nebraska. 5 FG's in those games combined. HE will get exposed further by the ALabama D, and his scrambling ability will equate to nil. MLB McClain will hawk him down, like he did to Tebow.

I hope you lay your whole Bankroll on TX ML.

Colt EXPOSED? He is 3 and 4 against OU, a team with normally a pretty salty D. Not saying he deserves the Heisman this year but he is the all time winningest QB and in his final game he will now be EXPOSED. You are the little man Vegas creams over.

HAHA. I will give you that. TX has beaten Oklahoma a few times, but they struggled to beat them this year. In Oklahoma's obvious most venerable state.

You cant give a team like TX, talented at every position, any credit for beating down vastly inferior competition. TX played nobodies out of conference also.

Once again lay your whole bankroll on TX ML, and the points.

WTF does UGA have to do with Bama, these 2 teams are lightyears apart in the defensive catagory. and it was a 1 score game until the bogus personal foul call on Reshad Jones to give OSU a 1st and goal late in the game.

and WTF does bowl games for the 80s, 90s, and 2003 have to do with this Texas team in 2009 ?

Very horrible call. Someone has to put a limit on how many fouls refs are allowed to make a game.

I wonder about Texas OL after Nebraska game.
Texas has weak running game IMO and now I think Alabama will pummel McCoy when he drops back to pass.
Regular turf will slow Tide a bit compared to artificial turf that Nebraska enjoyed.
                But still...

It is very simple. Texas has no running game, which means McCoy will be a target, much like the Nebraska game. The only difference between this game and the games that Texas played against Nebraska and a wounded OU team is that Alabama has a rock solid offense, and those other teams do not. OU had the highest scoring offense last year, and were shut down by the same Florida defense that was a year more seasoned and still got trampled by 'Bama. Texas fans are dreamers. The Big 12 is very weak. Go ahead and dump your money boys. Then disappearm like you always do.
