#2This reminds me a lot of the BYU-Air Force game last week. Everyone and his mother was on Air Force last week, despite the fact that Air Force could not compete with BYU to save their wings lately. So everyone lost their tails in here. This is the same thing. Everyone thinks that Nevada is competitive, but the fact is that they are 0-9 S/U and 1-8 ATS against Boise State. They are also playing on Smirf Turf. Boise MUST impress the Fiesta Bowl Reps who will be at the game. Nevada has defeated 8 straight nobodies after losing to 3 BCS Conference teams and being outscored 101-41 in those 3 games (Notre Dame, Missouri, and Colorado State at home). Please show me a decent team that they have defeated. Boise scores at will in this game.Comment -

#7I like Boise State here, but my big play will be on the over (69). I honestly wouldn't be too suprised if this one ends up in the high 80's.

Not trying to be adversarial here, but couldn't a similar statement be made about Boise? They've played 10 straight nobodies(mostly the same teams) since beating an Oregon team that I personally didn't think was at the top of their game. The thing that makes me think twice about taking Nevada is that Boise is out to prove something so if they can beat Nevada by 14 they will. The way Nevada's played the last three games though, I'm not convinced they can. Throw in the fact it's a Friday night game, I'll take the points here.Comment -

#12I have been winning the last few weeks betting the over in Boise St. games. I look to continue that trend here tonight even though it is at 70! Nevada will score enough to keep it somewhat close which means Boise will not let off the gas at home on the smurf turf!Comment -

#13it's either too easy or fools gold. i got it at 70.5. i think it goes over easy regardless of who covers, which is why i went with the total instead of a side.Comment -

#16Boise should get 7 pts just for the game being played on the blue turn. Can they beat Nevada by 6.5 on a neutral field? My answer is yes. But since they are playing on a friday nite, I don't have the confidence that boise will cover. Hard one to decide but I'll lean towards Nevada and the points.Comment -

#17I have Boise -13.5, Nevada has one of the worst pass defenses in the country and Boise plays pretty well on D.Comment -

#20i like boise to cover here. as mentioned before, nevadas pass defense is horrendous. Not only that, Boise is actually a balanced offensive team. They average something around 170 rushing per game as well. Nevadas pass defense is very bad and (as mentioned before), they haven't played anybody! They certainly havent played anyone as good as Boise. Overall, Nevadas offense is very one dimensional (#1 in running, almost last in passing) and I like to think a team as good as Boise can figure out how to stop the run and make Nevada pass. If that happens, it could be a blowout. As stated above, Boise needs to impress BCS officials and if they can win this by 30 then they will. Friday night - only game on this late, in the spotlight - looking to go to a BCS bowl? I'm all over Boise -14.Comment -
