I can explain Bama's Offensive woes. Mcelroy has anly played 8 college football games in his life. with alot of prep time we dominated Vtech. So 2 weeks of prep time to prepare for LSU and jefferson running for his life that spells doooooom for your twit of a coach and good football team.

I liked Stanford at first glance, letdown game for Oregon, but fear that the PAC-10 refs will protect Oregon to get them a BCS bid. Also, Oregon has been POUNDING the spread, 6 in a row, hate to bet against a team like that, not sure what you are dealing with... Stanford solid on "O", "D" is not so hot.

Also worried about LSU, liked them first gut feeling too many points but they might not be able to run the ball at all, then be forced to rely too much on their QB Jefferson. That could be a big problem IMO. Also, Alabama might be best team in the land, most well balanced.

Still have not decided on either, may pass on both.

You just make sure Saban put your program at an elite level with depth like he did LSU. Because the only position Bama is deep at is the runningback position. Everything else is 1 to 2 people deep.

ex. The WR position only has 1 guy that is elite level.

Whwnever you have you schools like LSU and Florida who have been in the top 3 in recruiting for the past 5 years that mean you have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to valuable depth!

but for what Saban has to work with he's doing a hell of a job.

The problem with LSU is that they have allowed 23 sacks this year and will have trouble against Bama's D. On the flip side LSU has only sacked the QB 13 times. Another key is LSU has not stopped the run very well. Bama has a really good running game if they stick with it. I think Bama wins by 7 so the +9 may be a decent bet. Too close to call for me.

every year these two teams play close! I personally dont think my team will win because we are to young at key positions, but I do think it will be a tough defensive struggle.

Alabama has had a top 3 class the past two years. By some analysts the top class two years in a row. They are stacked at LB, DL, OL, and RB, and in the secondary. The WR position and QB seem to be a weakness but they have talent at both.

In order to beat Bama you have to use your tightend and running back in special ways. And this is what I mean!

You have to spread them out with 3 WR and move your running back out if the backfield in motion to the wr position. That will weaken the blitz and there defense. That will cause for a linebacker to cover a running back which is a mismatch. Also you have to run quick WR patterns. Like 5 yard comebacks and quick slants. Also your tightend have to be your checkdown along with your running back. If you dont do those things the blitz will get to you!

Also you have to move your QB in the pocket in make passes( ex. rollouts). That way the QB can move away from the blitz and make the pass. But the only bad part about that is Saban likes to show you a blitz to the right or left and come the other way!

BUT THIS IS HOW I WOULD ATTACK BAMA. I WOULD RUN A HURRY UP OFFENSE THE WHOLE GAME! I WOULD KEEP BAMA DEFENSE IN HURRY UP MODE TO THE POINT THEY WONT BE ABLE TO GET THERE SIGNALS IN. AS SOON AS I THROW A LITTLE PASS IN THE FLAT I WOULD HURRY UP AND AS SOON AS THE REF PLACE THE BALL DOWN I WOULD BE RUNNING THE NEXT PLAY. IF YOU DO THAT TO A SABAN DEFENSE THEY WOULD BE REALLY CLUELESS AND VERY VULNERABLE!

2 years of recruiting in the top 3 dont make you stacked. You have to have atleast 4 recruiting classes

Homer. That is your response. WOW how perceptive...... and depth we have 3 elite receivers....5 linebackers.....we played 10 different defensive backs against Ole miss......we have 4 lineman who will be redshirted....the only weakness is lack of experience at quarterback....

My point is these two teams plays tough all the time. 9, 7.5, 7, those numbers are to much. It's not like BAMA has more talent than LSU, it's not like BAMA has an explosive offense. BAMA has scored 3 touchdowns in the last 3 games. They was very close to losing to Tennessee who is not as talented as LSU. Yea Alabama might win but 7 to 9 is way to many points for two good defenses to go at it.

Bama's O has been inept. No doubt. Saban will have them ready to play and I expect a huge game from Ingram. Bama has the talent on offense to explode. I feel like play calling is to blame for their lack of redzone scoring. They have moved the ball on everyone.

Dude. It wasn't even close really. Ingram fumbled for the first time in his career. They got an onside kick. They completed a 25 yard plus pass. Only 8 of those all year against Bama. Had a chance to win at the end but Bama did what they needed to do. Let's remember LSU is the same team that had Miss State on the 1 for the win and blew it.

I feel like play calling is to blame for their lack of redzone scoring. They have moved the ball on everyone.

BEC I will tell you just like I told the Florida fans. This is a true statement that a lot of people fail to realize.

If your facing a good defense and you are in the redzone it's harder to score if no one respects your WR core! They will stack the line of scrimmage! Thats why you bama fans seen Saban and crew went with two fade passes in the redzone.

If your pass game is suspect it's hard to score in the redzone. Thats the same problem Florida has.

Only 8 of those all year against Bama. Had a chance to win at the end but Bama did what they needed to do. Let's remember LSU is the same team that had Miss State on the 1 for the win and blew it.

you right! This is the SEC, there's no such thing as a pencil win game

Like I keep saying I think my Tigers will lose because we are to young at key positions to win on the road
