    HARRY'S WEEK #9 "TOTAL PACKAGE" (10-0 past 2 weeks)
I am 25-9 this season betting college totals. By the week I've gone 4-0, 2-2, 4-0, 3-1, 0-4, 2-2, 5-0, and 5-0. As luck would have it, I had more posters tailing me that 0-4 week than any other. Murphy's law I guess. This week I will play the following....

    NOTRE DAME/WASHINGTON STATE - UNDER 61

Finally the Fighting Irish get to play a team they should handle with ease. The Cougars are one of the worst teams in college football, though they have shown signs of improve-ment this year. Their weak link is a defense that's giving up 37 ppg. Teams are beating them both through the air and on the ground. Tonight in San Antonio (what's this, a bowl game?) I see Notre Dame grabbing an early lead, then trying to shorten the game by pounding the rock against this rush D that's giving up 5.8 ypc. They'll control the time of possession, ask less of Clausen, and escape town with a victory of about 38-14. Under.

    UTEP/UAB - UNDER 64

The Miners are averaging 25 ppg and the Blazers, 23 ppg. UAB's strength on offense is their rush attack, averaging a whopping 6.1 ypc. They're going up against a generous UTEP rush D allowing 5.2 ypc. They won't even pretend they're going to pass. They'll try to move the chains on the ground and keep the Miners' O off the field. I'm not sure the plan will work...but the clock should move fast and the total will go under.

    SAN DIEGO STATE/NEW MEXICO - OVER 52

The Aztecs offense has really come on of late, scoring 34, 28, and 42 in their last 3 games. They only average 70 ypg on the ground. They've been getting it done with the pass, averaging a nice 282 ypg. Today they face the 109th ranked pass D in the country (17 TDs against only 4 INTs). They will shred this Lobos D, forcing New Mexico to try and trade points. The Lobos offense sucks, of course, but this Aztecs D is soft, giving up an average of 28 ppg. Over.

    FLORIDA/GEORGIA - OVER 48

There are some great defenses in the SEC this year. Georgia's ain't one of 'em. The Gators will score today, probably putting up 35 or more points. Georgia's only hope is to try to win the turnover battle and somehow crack this Florida defense. With emotions running high in this fierce rivalry, they should be able to pop in a few. This one goes over.

    OREGON/USC - OVER 47

Tough spot for the Trojans. The Ducks have won 4 of the last 6 against USC in Eugene. The place simply goes nuts. Imagine it tonight on Halloween! Fully realize these are two very good defenses, but they're also both top-10 offenses. Oregon is averaging 34 ppg and USC 31 ppg. Don't get spooked, bet the over!

    As always, best of luck.
    Harry
