But some people post units they are betting isntead of money. So if someone says my standard 1unit play is for $100, then a 5unit play would be $500.
It means nothing though because units are not standardized. It would only mean something if we all said ok 1 unit equals $10...and that is the measuring stick we used

I think most people interpret 1 unit to equal $100, but as DblD say unless someone has specified that then you don't know. It could be $1, $10, $50, $100, $1,000, etc. etc. etc.

from the info i gather from here, some people refer a unit to a 1% of their savings account, for others could be a $10, $25, $50, a bj, a hj, buttsecks, a cow, clean the yard, dishes, etc
