the spread only being 19 should give you pause at first glance. rice has a pretty good d and can really eat up clock when they have the ball.

cajuns bringing everyone back and texas filling holes all over the place. i love sark and hate picking against texas here. they have talent and could end up winning handily...but i think the smart money takes the points.

watched closely last week and i think the bruins are the real deal.

oklahoma over 66.5 **
oklahoma should score at will this season. tulane is no slouch and i do think they put up a few tds. 56-24 is my wild guess.

not anywhere near some of the great writeups i have seen around the forums...but i am not trying to talk anyone into betting anything. just posting my thoughts and the games i am betting each week.

of course i always look at the pokes line first each week. osu is having trouble running the ball...and they are missing a bigtime wr sanders can just lob the ball up to no matter what. i have watched boise twice and they are nowhere near where they usually are on that side of the ball either. when they jumped on ucf early, much of that was the d and ucf mistakes. they dropped over 50 on utep...but this aint utep. both of these d's are really solid this season. i mean anything can happen in a college game...but this looks like turnovers, turnaways and fgs to me.

also...if i wasnt such a homer i would lay the 3.5 with boise. osu trouble moving the ball against sw mizzou and tulsa...and the boise d is pretty dam good. i am just hoping osu pulls it together this week...but so far they look like about a 4-8 team this season.
