One thing about the Army run game,yes it will eat clock.....but that flex-bone offence they run,produces higher yards per carry vs other teams that also run a lot.Comment -
It’s alarms like when they play a good team like OU or Michigan they can burn an entire quarter of clock each drive because they other defense is good enough to hold them to like 4 yards a carry.
When Army plays a group of five time though, those five yard runs become 15 and 20 and they seem to be able to score much faster.Comment -

They had two timeouts left...
Instead of calling a timeout, they left the clock run all the way down to seven seconds...ran 1 play and time expired. Lol

The announcers are idiots for not pointing that out. They had 2 easy shots with 2 Time outs left. That final play they should have had time left for another play and a time out left. MTSU is going slower than Army. They have been throwing 3 yard outs and then running their play clock down all game

Yea and even more frustrating when you have the Over and you waste points like that. I would say i never seen something this bad but honestly even NFL last year there were a ton like this that make no sense. Anyone with half a brain cell should know to call a time out in that situation but idk what these idiots are thinking. At worse they should have had An easy FG shot at the endComment -

3 yard out...run the play clock down to 1.....2 yard run up the middle....run the clock down again.

Army returned a fumble for a TD that shouldn't have been overturned. There is 7 points.
MTSU had the ball first and goal at the 3 yard line with 37 seconds and two timeouts left. They had a bad snap...let the clock run down, and ran one more play. Both of those plays did us in.
Congrats to those that had the over. Army did what I thought they would do but MTSU was like 50x worse than I would have ever imagined.
You're probably right about someone saying something to the announcers at halftime. I was getting so annoyed watching the clock run down and it seemed like no one in the stadium, or the announcers, had any clue WTH was going on. It was like being in the twilight zone.Comment -
Yea how do you not say about that end of the first half as it was unfolding in front of you. I was sitting there waiting for the clock to stop as it just kept on running. Even if they hurried to the line and threw that next play they would have had more time left. But they just took their time.
The TD taken back was a joke but then again idk how many bad horrible calls i saw last year. Your right just so frustrating when you lose on bad calls or because of a refs bad calls. Every time there was a drive they always called holding on big plays i hate that too .Comment
