Independence Bowl Thoughts

A few Miami players are sitting this one out, QB questions for the U and the game is in Louisiana. I'm taking Louisiana Tech +7 and a lesser amount on Louisiana Tech money line. What does everyone else think? Also, is there an Independence Bowl contest here at SBR? I couldn't find a post regarding that.

I've been riding LT in the bowls for 3-4 years now. They've won 5 in a row. Skip Holtz is a good coach and they're playing in Louisiana. Hard to say what Miamis motivation will be? They had 2 good road wins at Virginia 17-9 and Pitt 16-12, but didn't score much as you can see. Also seems like LT's QB has been there forever. He's not great, but they were on a 6-1 ats streak until he got suspended for a few games. I think LT wins SU 26-20. Should be a solid homefield advantage and they should win the turnover battle.
