    college bowls, some data
so in the past, i think we had running being important positively

and teams with lots of nfl talent in lesser bowls and maybe upstart teams (minn, baylor, utah) being fades.

so i did some spdl work.

2013 to today (2013 was the year i initially chose, but it does turn out to be optimized/datamined)..

service academies 9-2 ATS... led by navy at 5-0 ATS......... other running teams: GSo 1-0-1, GT 2-2

passing teams (did this off top of head so not objective criteria): wsu 1-4, hawaii 1-1, TT 1-2, WV 0-5

    some good teams ATS

wisconsin, marshall, navy, duke, michst, tennessee........ either 3+ ats wins and no defeats or 80%+ ATS

    some bad teams ATS

    miami-fl 1-6, nillinois 0-5, wva 0-5, cinn 0-4....... buffalo is 0-2 but big misses.

i should note i wasn't overly scientific on running teams either....... although AF, Army, Navy as so obvious and belong to their own category: service academies

You may want to limit your information to teams playing in a bowl game this season.
