All-time series is 21-21 but most of us know that a stat like this is completely irrelevant!!
Mountaineers win by 3+ TD's tonight!!

It's not a game i'm too fond of at all myself, but I am leaning towards Maryland in this one.

WVU is a strong play tonight. Maryland has no answers and WVU has no qualms about running it up especially considering they need all their wins to look really glossy due to the weakness of their schedule. The Mountaineers have a Championship mindset this year and they know that they can't afford to even play close games.
Maryland lacks the leadership and playmakers necessary to make this a battle. Tonight they will look slow, small, and bad.

This is a good play, also. Don't expect Maryland to score 10 points tonight. Looking for a final score of 41-7.

They're a legit 5 but they're not top tier by any stretch of the imagination. It's easy to see that they will dismantle teams like Maryland but they have large holes that will be exposed when they have to line up against the cream of the crop. Fortunately for them, that might not be until they're playing in a BCS bowl!
In particular, they lean heavily on the run which is fine until they face a team who has the capability to man up on the outside and throw 9 in the box. Their passing game looks good when they are running well but will prove to be unreliable and inconsistent once an opponent makes it their only option.
The main problem they have is on defense, though. They are smallish and not very good tacklers. This team plays defense as an afterthought.
When they face Louisville, there is no way the total can be high enough. If these two teams don't combine for at least 70 points, I'll be floored. Anybody who wants to make some money, please be waiting for the very moment your favorite book opens the line on this event and hammer the over. I won't be surprised if the total goes up 5 points from origination by the time the game starts.

WV has no D which will get them in trouble down the road, Maryland just gave them many free touchdowns and it will not be that easy later in the season.

I agree with isetcap's assessment of WVU. Sure they were milking the lead, but Mayland basically outplayed them the last 3 quarters.

I didn't watch the game, this really true?
(BTW, what's your favorite SG song?)

WVU played prevent defense for the last 37 minutes of the game. I strongly suspect Rodriguez didn't want to give anybody any film they can use to prepare against them.
I know the question isn't directed to me but I'll chime in anyway because that's just how I am...

I'm also a big fan of when Cornell says, "I'm looking California and feeling Minnesota."
My girlfriend is from CA and as with most Californians is quite certain that there is no other place of any importance other than CA (specifically NorCal), but her mother's family is from Minnesota so she can definitely relate to these lyrics.

That's a great line. I'm really glad he's kept it together, I feared the worst for him musically when he went into sobriety, but he seems to be embracing it well oddly enough. Have you checked out his Stripped sessions or the ones on yahoo? If not, PM me, I'll send you the links.

Maryland started off very sloppy and could never recover but looked decent at times.

Hard to pick one song but the whole Superunknown album is my favorite.
