Kentucky at Louisville - Sep 3rd
    Take the 'Cats and points

    By: Players Advantage

Louisville's a strong team, but they're giving away too many points in this one to Kentucky.

Running back Michael Bush certainly makes the Cardinals offense "scary" to opposing defenses, but will they have enough to cover this large number in Week 1?

We don't think so...especially when you consider that QB Brian Brohm is trying to come back from a long layoff after his torn ACL injury suffered last season.

The real key here goes beyond the skill positions though. The Cardinals have a fairly inexperienced offense line and also a defensive line that has undergone a number of changes since last season. That means Louisville won't be able to dominate the trenches like a team needs to do when they are trying to cover a three touchdown or more spread!

Wildcats QB Andre Woodson is an athletic player and should be able to have some success against the Cardinals defense if they over pursue. Also, Wildcats RB Rafael Little may help control the clock some for Kentucky in this game and that will allow them to hang around longer and keep the scoreboard closer than many expect.

Note that three fumbles by Woodson in last year's contest played a key role in the game. The QB and the rest of his Cats' teammates will look to make up for that in this years' rivalry battle.

    Play: Kentucky +22½
