    Georgia loses two studs to the NFL.

    Matthew Stafford     and running back Knowshon Moreno announced that they are leaving school early to enter the NFL Draft. Stafford completed 61.4 percent of his passes for 3,459 yards, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in his junior season. Stafford tossed for 7,731 yards with 51 touchdowns and 33 interceptions during his college career. The 21-year-old Moreno carried the ball 250 times for 1,400 yards and 16 touchdowns during his sophomore season. In his two years with the Bulldogs, Moreno had 498 carries for 2,736 yards and 30 scores to go along with 53 catches for 625 yards and two touchdowns.

      sad day for Dawg fans
      but like all SEC teams they will reload. I'm not to concerned with Stafford leaving cause Joe Cox is a solid back up. He could start on alot of D1 teams but chose to stay at UGA like many UGA QBs in the past.
      the big hole to fill will be Moreno. Granted Richt gave freshman Caleb King alot of time this year but he didnt impress me much. King and Samuel were supposed to be the next great duo of RBs but frankly I havent seen it yet. King was benched b/c of lack of pass blocking ability and Samuel has had a case of fumbelitis.

      It will be a step down next year but on the bright side the Dawgs wont be preseason #1.
