    New Years DAY Games
Not sure when I will drag my hung over ass out of bed tomorrow..... so here are my games for New Years Day!

Iowa/SC game...... I'm not playing this one. Does anyone have insight to this game? I'm tempted to take SC and the points. I know Greene is a stud RB. Too tough to call for me. No play at this time.

Nebraska +2.5 Look at my name. I'm a homer here. BUT... I'm not stupid with my money either. I really think Nebraska wins this game. It should be somewhat high scoring but I'm not sure about the 55. Ganz scores early and often. Lucky opens the eyes of the scouts... and the Huskers win 42-31.

Georgia -8 The Big Ten has been somewhat impressive. UNTIL NOW! Georgia.... who was preseason #1 and played in one of the toughest conferences this year pounds this weak MST team.

USC-8 Look...... I dont want to hear about how Joe Pa will win this game or keep it close. Joe Pa is a great coach..... and in the past he has done well with time to prepare. But this is USC in their backyard. The better D and better offense put the hurt to the lion cubs.

Virginia Tech +2.5 Vtech has played well this year. Tyrod Taylor can do it all and will find a way to win this one.

    * Everyone on Georgia, which is a little scary, WAY more talent, just comes down to motivation.

    * Not sure JoePa knows 10 plays of the playbook or 20 guys on his team........if they keep it close, it will have very little to do with him.

    * Really like VaTech.

Clemson has the better athletes and Nebraska hasn't seen a team with the speed of Clemson... I think Clemson wins the game easily... also like South Carolina... Garcia played for some of the season but hadn't mastered the playbook since he wasn't practicing with the team until the beginning of the fall... now he should know all of the playbook and SC has a nasty defense... just my opinion.. g/l.

I like Clemson too, Nebraska will get run over

South Cakalaki in the house - when in doubt take an SEC team - the only teams that made the SC defense look stupid was Florida and Clemson and Iowa doesnt have it like that

GA should stomp a mud hole in MSU

Penn State with the ML upset over the over farkin rated Trojans and their shitty offense led by Sanchez the choker (I will tie this play into OLE MISS ML Parlay) 9-1 odds. Penn States Defense will be the one making plays tomorrow

Phil Steele/Power Sweep is 13-8 (+13 units) this year and started 20-4 ATS last year!! Its been atleast 5 yrs since they had a losing bowl season although I disagree w/alot of his picks this year! Tomorrow they have as follows:

              Nebraska +2 = 3 stars
Iowa = No play although Iowa is a play in a strong trend that is 10-0 ATS dating back to 1996!

Play AGAINST a New Years Day Bowl Team (South Carolina) that was outrushed by 20+ ypg during the year!

              Georgia -8 = 2 stars
Penn State +9 = 4 stars...he has PS to win SU? Have to mention Power Sweep's 4 star picks are 3-0 (Notre Dame, Florida State, and LSU...all ridiculously easy!)
              Va Tech +2 = 2 stars

Personally I like Nebraska ML....maybe +2? Clemson is gutless...doesn't seem to show up for big games and they have no pass rush! QB Cullen Harper is probably the biggest flop in the ACC this year and Nebraska has played the tougher schedule! I like that Ganz kid at QB for the Huskers! 23-10 ratio w/5 rushing scores! Possibly a small parlay w/Over 56.5? Nebraska is 5-0 Over this year vs winning teams!

Georgia just seems too easy to me? They've had a ton of injuries on defense and the O-line! Michigan State may play harder here? I think I'm going to play Over 55.5 here....MSU is 5-0 Over on grass this year and Georgia avg. 32 ppg!

Phil Steele may talk me into Penn State +9? He thinks their D will cause just as many problems for USC as vice versa! 3 totally EASY 4 star winners has my attention and I'm guessing the line might be 10 or more closer to kickoff!

              GL!!

They were gutless but they have turned things around big time

My buddy is the new offensive line coach for the Gamecocks. They are starting from scratch with the O-line. Also, Garcia doesn't know the playbook because he is just not that smart enough to learn the whole thing. His work ethic sucks. When Coach started preparing for this game he walked into the locker room and wrote SIMPLIFY on the board. The playbook is being dumbed down for Garcia. He will only check two reads and then run if there is nothing. A lot of running plays have been installed for him. We will not score much. Iowa will score against us off of turnovers. The defense will be ready.

I am leaning with Iowa and the under looks like the sure bet.

I don't bet against my alma mater.

I hope this helps those for the Outback Bowl which is also a home game for us.

and USC will make me 3-0 on the day

                      Not a bad start!
