I have watched every Maryland game this year and about half the Nevada games, I realize Nevada has an explosive offense, but maryland thrives as the underdog and is not a bad team, also maryland generally plays very well in bowl games, they have covered the line I believe in their last 4 bowls....Champs Sports, emerald, chick fil a, and gator bowl. Maryland has the much smarter coach who when given time to prepare always plays well, Maryland has so many playmakers, Nevada is good dont get me wrong but I feel as if this is one of those games where no matter how good Nevada looks on paper they just dont have the all around size and complete team to compete with a pretty powerful Maryland team. Can Nevada stop Da'rell scott? can they keep up with Heyward Bey? Also chris turner plays lights out as the underdog, I dont really see the weather affecting Maryland very much as it can get pretty cold in college park. This is for sure a game I would leave alone, but it seems EVERYONE is picking Nevada here? Everyone on this forum and every single CBS announcer predicted Nevada? Any reason for this not being a 50/50 game?

Heyward-Bey is questionable for this game...if he doesn't play Maryland is going to have some serious problems having balance on offense as Nevada's run defense is pretty good...Maryland does have the coaching edge, but I can't see them being that motivated to travel across country and freeze their asses off in this game...Comment -

Also , Maryland has covered 3 of their last 5 bowl games. They did not cover in last years bowl as a 5 point dog. They did not travel well to last years emerald bowl either.Comment -

Fresno State over Ga. Tech was my biggest play last year...due to a ton of reasons but one of the main ones being the travel differences and Fresno having played on the smurf turf before! I haven't seen Maryland play much this year but Nevada's QB out of that pistol formation is quite a handful! I like Nevada alot too but I doubt Maryland just phones it in like Ga. Tech did last year!Comment
