It would be very hard for me to go against the Ball State club, especially when they are in a revenge mode after last years' 14-13 loss to Miami Ohio. And in this contest the numbers don't lie.

Ball State scores 38.3 points per game and surrenders only 15.3 a differential of a mind boggling 23 points.

Miami scores 18.3 points per game and gives up 30.3 a differential of -12.3.

That is a 35.3 differential between the clubs. This one may get ugly very quickly. Can you say blowout? And because of the blowout factor and my opinion that Ball State will have no mercy on Miami, I think that the total of 54 is too high. This one will be a wire to wire job.

Ball State needs to make a statement every game to get that BCS bid. I wonder if other teams in the conference are happy to have a team in a BCS game or would they rather try to knock off a foe and send the conference back to its normal state.

I'll be on Ball St. The under looks good as well but I hate to bet unders in a game where the team i'm on has a high spread to cover.
