I don't understand why Texas is at #5 and Oklahoma is at #4 on the USA Today Poll. Figured Texas would have been ahead of them.

So Texas beating Oklahoma by 10 doesn't prove anything?

In my opinion Oklahoma wins that game 7.5 out of 10 times

Oklahoma is definitely better than Texas and would be favored over them by about 6 points on a neutral field.

That said, Sooners came up short in their one game that mattered, and that loss to Texas is proving very costly. As long as Texas stays ahead of Oklahoma in the BCS Rankings, Sooners have no chane to reach BCS Championship Game if Longhorns win out, which is a shame since they may be second best team in the country behind Florida talent wise.

Unless Oklahoma pulverizes Texas Tech so much that they leapfrog Texas in the BCS Rankings.
