Which style gives you the best odds for winning? I guess if you were counting, single deck huh? But would a 6 deck shoot give you more opportunities to get higher winning hands like 18, 19, and 20?

Doesn't really matter online since the cards would be shuffled every time and you're playing one on one.

6 decks - more chances of hitting 20/21 as there are plenty more picture cards

Maybe I'm missing the point, but yes there are more picture cards in 6 deck (exactly 6 times more). Coincidentally, if I'm not mistaken I believe there's also exactly 6 times as many non picture cards. I've actually heard that there's a slight advantage to playing single deck (Very Important beware of the rules!).

If you're counting it matters how many decks they use and how deep they go into the shoot. If you are not counting the number of cards doesn't matter as much, all that matters is the rules. Obviously you need to have BJ pay 3 to 2 or better, some really low tables and promotion places will pay less, and that is a ripoff. Also, the rules on splitting, resplitting, drawing to split aces are very important.

There's a lot more information online and there are several really good blackjack books, pm me if you have any questions.

Double-deck blackjack with player-friendly rules is an outstanding game. When (among other strategic decisions) you may double down on any two cards and double after splitting, the house edge with perfect basic strategy is around 0.45 percent. Take away the perk of doubling after splitting and it escalates to 0.59 percent.

even if it's online it still matters how many decks are used, even if it's shuffled after every hand
              less decks are always better
